Hoida’s employee time-keeping application is especially designed for companies that have staff working in the field, travelling to customers to perform a certain job. Combined with the attendance functionality and a calendar in which to enter work shifts, it makes personnel management much simpler and faster.

Through a function on the App (free download from all stores), it will be possible to clock in and out of the workplace.

The system geolocalises the employee’s location at the time of clocking in, so you can be sure that the person is exactly where he or she is.

Head office staff will be able to check the presence of employees at the workplace at any time, in real time, and will immediately have at their disposal all the data necessary to carry out the monthly closing of hours.

While the classic badge only allows clocking in and out at the place where a time attendance device has been installed, with the hoida app, which can be downloaded free of charge from all stores, we remove all location constraints and allow staff to clock in and out of work from anywhere.

How does stamping via App work?

Every employee only has to download the app to their smartphone and log in with their credentials. In the app, there is a section dedicated specifically to digital time stamping.

Within this is a button that the employee simply has to select when he or she wants to clock in and then out. All of this is quick and easy, for the benefit of off-site employees and those involved in personnel management.

Every entry and exit is reported in real time to the central platform, thanks to cloud-based management. In this way, those in charge of personnel management always have the situation under control, all via a single screen.

Geolocation, respecting privacy

We have devised a system that allows companies to be certain of the start and end times of their staff at a given location. This is a problem that mainly affects those companies that operate in the field, which have staff travelling to different locations to carry out their daily activities.

With Hoida’s App, each time stamp is geolocalised. This makes it possible to verify the real presence of personnel at the established work location, while fully respecting privacy. In fact, geolocalisation is only activated at the moment of clocking in or out, switching off the rest of the time.

In this way, the employee confirms his or her presence there, but at the same time is not tracked throughout working hours.

How it works: for each place of work, the system will ask you to enter the address (e.g. Via Dante, 5 Milan) which will allow the software to geolocalise it. When the employee is clocking in with his or her smartphone, the system will compare the location of the worksite with that of the person clocking in, indicating any inconsistencies in location, with a customisable tolerance range.

In the event that the employee is not at the designated location, Hoida will still allow time stamping, but will flag that time stamp as abnormal.

In this way, it will be very easy to have real-time control of the presence of staff at the designated workplaces, all in full compliance with the rules.
